Walkway Press is a series of workshops and events taking place in my flat and around the Leopold Estate in East London. The aim of these events is to create possibilities for a shared experience between artists and non-artist communities, generating different energy on the estate by encouraging experimentation and participation. Some of the outcomes of the process are being incorporated into a non-documentary film.

First day of Ramadan. I worked till late today and felt tired. I waved 'hello' to Poppy, when passing outside of her window. Her brother invited me for a meal. Eating and chatting in their kitchen felt so good. I never thought, that being able to pop in next door for a tea, leaving my bike outside without worrying about it, keeping my door totally open for hours...that it all can be such a relief. It's the first time that I live among people that are so welcoming, because despite of all the art projects I do here, it was my neighbours who come first to offer us food...it was over a year ago.
